"Bloodied zombie" danced in Belarus

On the October 28 Eugene Yakush’ Ballet and  Grodno traffic police organized a protest against the drivers’ aggression towards pedestrians. The action took place at a busy crossroads in the center of Grodno.

The essence of the campaign was the following: when the traffic light showed red Eugene Yakush’ ballet dancers appeared in front of ordinary drivers. The dancers looked like victims of road accidents (thanks to a make-up artist Eleanora Zamyslovskaya). They were carrying notices naming the most common causes of pedestrians’ death on the road, such as "I didn’t look around ", " I went without flicker ", " Run over by a scorcher", " I went on a red light".

"Every year, a huge number of pedestrians suffer from run-downs," says Eugene Yakush . - But the worst thing is that some of them are children. At first glance, the action looks like a show. But we hope that it, like a seed - fall into drivers’ souls and will sprout there in a more thoughtful and careful attention to pedestrians. "

Organizers of the action plan that this event will reduce deaths on the roads caused by ride-downs.

Eugene Yakush’ Ballet
