The world's first live road signs have appeared in Belarus

A photographer Ian Khvedchin and a stylist Olga Ko, with the support of Grodno road police have submitted a photo project "Live signs." Its special feature is that the Belarusian celebrities turned into the road signs. The purpose of the action is to draw public attention to the observance of the traffic rules, the violation of which carries the most severe consequences.

"We have replaced the symbols on signs to human beings to show that compliance with the rules of traffic - it's not a mere formality, but a necessity that saves lives," - says photographer Ian Khvedchin.

"Art not just entertain, but also it can save lives, -said the author of the project, the stylist Olga Ko. - And if at least one driver after our work will cease to violate traffic rules - I will consider my job done. "

As a result of accidents in the Grodno region, nearly 500 humans have been killed or injured on the roads only during 2015. Project organizers are calling drivers and pedestrians to respect as demonstrated road signs, as all signs in general. After all, that’s just the only way to ensure safety on the roads for themselves and other people.
