On September 30th a stylist Olga Co, a TV project "Know Ours" and a company «Ecological Alternative» presented live chess figures, which made-up for the project. The place of the performance was a 9-meter chessboard, made of rubber coatings for the farms, which in their turn used to be tires before recycling. The dresses for chess pieces were made of paper for food bags.
“We urge drivers to pay attention to a new waste-free tire recycling program of our company; it's harmless for the environment -, says the representative of "Ecological Alternatives" Mikhail Lis. - This is particularly important now, before winter when drivers change tires, and often the discarded old ones damage nature.”
“This performance symbolizes the Environment in miniature: there will be checkmate in the fight against the environmental disaster due to this new recycling technology.” - says the stylist Olga Co.
The organizers hope that this event will help to improve the environmental situation and will take a new step in the conservation ecology of Belarus.
